What are the Indian Labor law working hours?

5.Contract Labour Act 1970, a contractor should maintain a register in form XXIII to enter details of overtime along with the pay of an employee.
Average working hours in India, according to the Minimum wages Act should not exceed 12 hours a day including rest period and by the provision of 1948 Factories Act, persons in between ages of 15 – 18 should not work more than 4-1/2 hours and spread should not exceed 5 hours.
